Ash Trees on College Land
This map shows the distribution of ash trees on campus. In total, our survey found 1,219 ash trees, all of which are vulnerable to EAB.

Problem Area: Ross and Ridgeline
Most of the College's ash trees are found in these two problem areas. In Ridgeline, it is unlikely that these will be replanted. Loss of ash trees behind Ross, however, would open up the view of the complex from VT-Route 125.

The area between Atwater Dining and 275 Weybridge Street is home to 523 ash trees. Part of our plan includes a replanting effort in this area which entertains the possibility of a new park.
